BCSE registered the first Exchange-Traded Bond Programme
On October 24, 2024, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) announces the registration of the first Programme of exchange-traded bonds of the Leasing Company Eurotime with the total bond issue limit under the Programme in the amount of BYR 50 million.
Registration of the Programme is an important step for the development of the financial market of Belarus and provides Leasing Company Eurotime with new opportunities for raising capital. Exchange-traded bonds issued under the Programme will become available to a wide range of investors, which will contribute to increasing liquidity and transparency of the organised financial market.
The exchange-traded bonds issued under the Programme became possible after the necessary amendments were made to the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 231-З On the Securities Market dated January 5, 2015 and other regulatory legal acts and local legal acts of BCSE.
Advantages of the exchange-traded bonds issued under the Programme:
- Flexibility and speed: the Programme facilitates the issuance of several series of bonds under one common part of the prospectus, which simplifies the issue process and reduces time and workflow.
- Cost reduction: Registering bond issues under the programme is lower in cost than registering several separate issues, facilitating savings on administrative and legal costs.
- Attracting investors: The existence of the programme increases investor confidence, as it demonstrates the company’s long-term plans and stability.
- Simplified management: The Programme provides for more efficient debt management and flexibility in responding to changes in market conditions.
