VII Bond Congress of CIS and Baltic States to be held in Yerevan

From July 1 to July 2, 2010, the VII Bond Congress of the CIS and Baltic countries will be held in Yerevan organized by the Cbonds news agency with the support of the NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The Bond Congress is held annually since 2004 in the financial center of one of the Commonwealth member countries, gathering market professionals from all CIS and Baltic countries.

The purpose of the Bond Congress in Yerevan is to discuss the most urgent problems of the debt market in the CIS and Baltic countries directly by the participants of this market, exchange of experience, establishment of new business ties, and presentation of the Armenian bond market to the international community and attracting investment interest to this segment of the capital market of Armenia.

The main topics of the VII Bond Congress will be the development of the Armenian stock market, post-crisis period in the world financial markets, bond markets of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Baltic countries. During the Round Table on issues of external and internal markets, participants will discuss the priorities and interests of issuers and investors in this area. It is planned that over 200 representatives of professional capital market participants from CIS and Baltic countries will take part in the conference.

Among the invited speakers of the Bond Congress are representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia, the Ministry of Finance of RA and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. The speeches of the NASDAQ OMX Armenia management, issuers working in the Armenian bond market and companies providing investment services in Armenia are also planned. Representatives of regulators, stock exchanges, as well as issuers and market participants, including representatives of Deutsche Bank, Standard & Poor’s, Sberbank of Russia, Troika Dialog, MICEX, Goldman Sachs , SEB Bank.
