2020 Annual Report of the Baku Stock Exchange

The total trade volume of securities on the Baku Stock Exchange in 2020 amounted to 12,902,026,738 AZN.*

Compared to the fiscal year of 2019, the secondary market trading volume increased by 47%, while corporate securities market overall saw a boost of 89%. Repo transactions grew by 92% on year-over-year basis, and equity trading volume surged by 7100% and 900% in primary and secondary market, respectively.

The total market capitalization of the Baku Stock Exchange on the last trading day of FY2020 equaled to 3,957,888,532 AZN.*

*1 AZN = 0.59 USD is the official currency rate indicated by Central Bank of Azerbaijan throughout the year of 2020.
