BCSE and Shanghai Stock Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding

On April 19, 2019, Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) and Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE, China) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing cooperation between both exchanges in the sphere of securities trading.

The MoU implies the exchange of market and exchange products information represented in Belarus and China, joint events, research projects, staff training, as well as other cooperation opportunities.

The signing of MoU between the BCSE and the SSE was the next step in expanding cooperation in the exchange sphere between Belarus and China and the development of an organized securities market.

Brief info on the SSE:
The Shanghai Stock Exchange is a non-profit organization run by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). The Capitalization of the SSE exceeds USD 4 trillion. More than 1,300 companies and about 8,000 bonds are available for brokers on the SSE. In 1990, the SSE came into existence and today it is one of the five largest trading platforms in the world.
