BCSE corporate bond market volume increased by 45% in August
The corporate debt segment recorded a high market participant activity in August 2026. The total trading volume of corporate bonds showed significant growth, rising by 45% compared to July to reach BYN 510 million (up from BYN 352 million in July 2026).
Positive trends were observed in both key market segments:
the primary market (bond issue) totaled BYN 267.0 million (a 45% increase over the previous month);
the secondary market (bond trading) recorded a volume of BYN 243 million (a 45% increase).
An analysis of trading activity patterns reveals qualitative shifts in market participant behavior. While the total number of transactions saw a slight decline, the average trade size increased by approximately 60%. This trend points to an influx of larger, long-term capital and a measured approach by investors toward executing trades. High liquidity and sustained investor interest are further evidenced by secondary market data, with around 4,500 transactions concluded during the reporting period.
Stable performance results in August establish a solid foundation for the further quantitative and qualitative development of the domestic corporate bond market during the autumn period.
