BCSE participated in the UN Global Compact Network meeting in Belarus

On April 28, 2026, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) participated in the General Meeting of the UN Global Compact Network in Belarus.

During the event, participants summarized the 2025 activities, discussed key work areas for 2026 with a focus on sustainable development, ESG, participation in UN Global Compact accelerators and the Forward Faster initiative, and discussed candidates for the Supervisory Board of the UN Global Compact Network in Belarus.

One of the significant events of the meeting was presenting a certificate of accepting BCSE to the UN Global Compact Network – the largest international initiative in the field of sustainable development, corporate responsibility, and responsible business. The certificate was presented to Andrei Auhimena, BCSE Chairman of the Board, by Rasul Bagirov, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Belarus.

Joining the UN Global Compact Network reflects the BCSE’s commitment to consistently embedding principles of sustainable development, transparency, social responsibility, and fair business practices into its operations. For BCSE, participation in the initiative opens up additional opportunities for developing international cooperation, sharing experiences, and building trust among financial market participants.

“We are confident that this initiative will further strengthen the BCSE’s role as a reliable infrastructure organization and will expand professional collaboration at both the national and international levels,” noted Andrei Aukhimenia.

BCSE plans to consistently integrate the principles of the UN Global Compact into its corporate processes and promote the sustainable development agenda among its partners and financial market participants.
