BCSE launched its first exchange-traded bonds linked to platinum and silver

On October 22, 2025, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) held a press conference to announce the launch of trading in new exchange-traded bonds indexed to the official price of platinum and silver.

The event attracted the attention of leading Belarusian news agencies, bloggers writing on personal capital investment, and professional securities market participants.

BCSE Chairman of the Board Andrei Aukhimenia and Deputy Director for Economics and Investments at Aigenis Veronika Sankovich addressed the press conference.

“We are launching trading in the first bond issues indexed to the official price of platinum and silver. This is a significant step in developing the exchange infrastructure and expanding the range of investment instruments. BCSE is consistently working to ensure the Belarusian securities market remains competitive, technologically advanced, and focused on investor needs. The launch of such instruments not only expands the product line but also contributes to the stability and depth of the national financial market,” noted Andrei Aukhimenia.

Veronika Sankovich, Deputy Director for Economics and Investments at Aigenis, noted: “In June of this year, the first issue of gold bonds was introduced to the Belarusian market, confirming that this type of bond is a clear and popular instrument. New instruments introduced today are a logical expansion of the product line following the success of gold bonds.”

The speakers answered numerous questions from event participants and noted that the launch of new types of bonds is an important step in developing the exchange infrastructure and expanding the range of accessible investment products aimed at both institutional and private investors in the Republic of Belarus.
