BCSE took part in the First Eurasian Economic Forum

On May 26, 2022, the First Eurasian Economic Forum was held in Bishkek, which was attended by more than 2.5 thousand representatives of large businesses, government agencies and the media from 25 countries of the world.

The forum has become one of the most important events aimed at developing economic cooperation, forming economic ties between the participants, as well as increasing the investment, innovation and export potential of the EAEU countries.

Within the framework of the forum, plenary sessions were held, in which Andrey Aukhimenia, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange took part as a speaker in such panels as “The role of exchange-traded financial instruments denominated in the national currencies of the EAEU in stimulating economic growth” and “Practical aspects of the integrated foreign exchange market formation in the EAEU space. Mechanisms of direct exchange rate formation of the national currencies of the Union member states. Ways of expanding the usage of national currencies of the EAEU states in settlements within the framework of mutual trade”.

The forum participants signed a number of agreements that will contribute to the development of Eurasian integration and the formation of economic ties between the businesses of the EAEU countries.
