BCSE took part in the VIII Capital Markets Belarus Conference organized by Cbonds Group
On February 15, 2024, the VIII Capital Markets Belarus Conference was held in Minsk – a unique communication platform that provides an opportunity for representatives of the banking community and the real sector of the economy to discuss the macroeconomic situation and the most topical issues related to attracting financing for Belarusian borrowers in the domestic and international debt markets.
Traditionally, the conference was attended by over 100 representatives of regulators, stock exchanges, rating agencies, leading local and international banks and other professional participants in the securities market.
The main topics of the Belarusian-Russian event were the opportunities of international capital markets for Belarusian companies, summing up the development of the domestic debt market in 2023, as well as discussing current trends and future prospects for this segment of the financial market.
Among the speakers were both Belarusian and foreign experts. Representatives of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange took part in the panel discussion in the section Domestic Debt Market of Belarus dedicated to discussing the current and most topical issues of the bond market of Belarus. Participants were presented with a report On-Exchange Bond Market, which highlighted the significant events that took place on the organized securities market in 2023, with a presentation of exchange-traded products and services.
