BCSE participated in seminar Financial Market in Digital Times: Strategies and Solutions
On May 12-13, 2026, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus hosted a seminar The Financial Market in Digital Times: Strategies and Solutions, bringing together regulators, leading issuers, and financial market specialists. The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) was one of the organizers and key speakers.
The seminar was opened by Andrei Aukhimenia, Chairman of the BCSE Board, who outlined key vectors for financial market development in the context of rapid digitalization.
In the regulators’ section, participants discussed the prospects for the development of the Belarusian securities market, new non-bank financing instruments, and the role of the Central Securities Depository in the modern market infrastructure. Representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank, and the Republican Central Securities Depository presented their reports.
Particular attention was paid to the development of exchange-traded instruments. BCSE specialists presented the functionality of the financial marketplace created by BCSE, new listing rules, and digital services – from online trading to API integration.
In the afternoon, a professional market participants’ session was held, where experts from Russia and Belarus shared their experiences in developing investment ecosystems, using financial data, and working with ratings. A representative of Eurotorg shared the perspective on the market as a major issuer.
The second day of the seminar was entirely devoted to digital financial assets – one of the most dynamically developing segments of the financial market. The National Bank presented current issues in the development of digital technologies in the banking sector, including open APIs and the implementation of crypto cards. A representative of the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board of the High-Tech Park presented a report on innovations in the digital financial asset market regulation. Special attention was paid to the prospects for the introduction of the digital ruble.
The event culminated in a panel discussion featuring representatives from the Finstore.by online platform, the BYNEX crypto exchange, the Whitebird crypto platform, the FainEx investment platform, and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. The experts discussed innovations in token market regulation and the practical aspects of their application.
The seminar’s high practical value and the relevance of the topics discussed were noted. The seminar confirmed the readiness of the Belarusian financial market for digital transformation and demonstrated the availability of modern instruments and solutions for investors and issuers.
