On approval of the JSC “Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange” as a corresponding member of the World Federation of Exchanges
The Belarussian Board of Directors of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) approved the JSC “Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange” as a WFE correspondent member on January 10, 2013.
The World Federation of Exchanges was founded in 1961 and unites the world’s largest stock exchanges.
The Federation includes 58 stock, currency, futures and options exchanges, as well as 2 associate members, 17 affiliated members and 31 correspondent members.
From the MAB of the CIS, the Moscow Federation is a member of the Federation, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and the Ukrainian Exchange are affiliated members, the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange, the PFTS Stock Exchange and the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange are the Bela Correspondent Members.
WFE promotes market standards by supporting small exchanges, cooperating with regulators and government organizations to ensure fairness, transparency and efficiency of markets.
