BCSE met the member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus
On 7 August 2024, there was a regular working meeting between Andrei Aukhimenya, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, Alexei Vasilyev, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic on Legislation and State Construction, Director of the Minsk Regional State Registration and Land Cadastre Agency, and Svetlana Degtyarenko, Head of the Main Department of Corporate Relations, Owner Supervision and Trading of Shares of the State Property Committee.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the issues of further development of the stock market and public offering of shares of domestic enterprises on BCSE (IPO) within the framework of implementation of certain provisions of the National Security Concept of the Republic of Belarus approved by the decision of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.
The participants of the meeting discussed in detail new legislative initiatives aimed at improving liquidity and capitalisation growth of the exchange-traded stock market, including the introduction of such necessary measures as expanding the circle of persons entitled to make transactions on BCSE; increasing the list of securities to attract qualified investors to make transactions on BCSE; introducing the BCSE token listing procedure; developing and launching the Marketplace Finance digital platform, which will become a promising aggregator of various financial products and services; and introducing the BCSE token listing procedure.
