BCSE participated in the seminar Depository Bonds as Business Opportunities

Representatives of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) took part in the seminar Depository Bonds as Business Opportunities held on September 27, 2024 in Minsk. The event was organized by AIGENIS and BIK Ratings with the support of the Securities Department, BCSE and the Association of Securities Market Participants.

The seminar brought together leading experts and business representatives to discuss new opportunities and prospects for the use of depositary bonds in Belarus. The event focused on key aspects of issuance and circulation of depositary bonds, as well as their potential for attracting financing and business development. Special attention was paid to the role of credit ratings and the organization of the process of assigning them to issuers and bonds.

Deputy Chairman of the BCSE Board made a report on Bonds Traded on BCSE. Requirements to Issuers for Issuing Bonds”, in which he highlighted the current trends in the bond market and shared his experience in introducing new financial instruments. Special attention was paid to regulatory issues and peculiarities of the use of certain types of bonds by issuers from different sectors of the economy.

“Speaking at such events facilitates us not only to share our experience and knowledge, but also to directly participate in the formation of a favorable environment for the development of the financial market of Belarus,” said the BCSE representative.
